BrainStorm Network was founded by young entrepreneur Charles R. Paquet in 2004, with just a few dedicated servers installed in his own basement. Initially serving only gamers in Quebec, he quickly expended in Europe, based only on rapidly spreading word of mouth about this brand new company that was the the first and only one offering 100% dedicated servers for gaming purposes.

By the end of 2005, BrainStorm Network had expended all over Canada, the United States, and Europe, with servers in locations as varied as Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, New York, Washington D.C., Dallas and Seattle in America, and the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Italy, the U.K. and France, delivering dedicated game servers for over 400 clients. This was also the year in which BSN became an EA Games Ranked Server Partner(Trusted Partner), giving us exlusivity in being the only ranked server for all EA games in Canada. With the rapidly increasing demand, a Live Support department was also created around early 2006, with more than a dozen employees working full time on assisting clients with sales, billing, and technical support. In September of 2007, BrainStorm Network obtained Canadian exlusivity with Activision-Vivaldi Entertainment, becoming their official and sole distributor in the country. In october, it was the turn of Crytek to make BrainStorm Network a Trusted Partner and gave exlusive rights for Canadian and French distribution, also making us one of the only two Ranked Server Partner in France.

Today, the company has moved out of its initial installements and settled in the 1250 René-Levesque tower in Montreal, with large and extremly high tech facilities. BSN also owns several offices and call centres in the U.K., France and Australia. BrainStorm Network has developped into two sub-divisions at first, BSNGaming -handling all game servers-, and BSNServers, for Web Hosting. As a personnal favor, Mr.Paquet himself started building websites for some of his first clients. Seeing how satisfied they turned out, and with the high demand for more, it was only the next logical step when BSNWebsites became a clear necessity. Only launched on January 1st 2009 by Sherif Karama, it has already built nearly 10 websites for personnal or corporate purposes.

A recent make-over of the staff structure has allowed Mr. Paquet to further expand his horizons, allowing BrainStorm Network to offer even lower prices on all its services, while maintaining the same initial quality that launched it high into the online gaming world. BSN is now the largest game server network in Quebec, one of the largest in Europe, and with the recent addition of BSNWebsites, it is proud and excited to now offer a full range of online services to clients all over the world!
